Day 1
Jammu – Katra (50 kms / 2 hours)On your arrival at the Jammu Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative or Driver who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. we start a scenic drive from Jammu Airport towards Katra, Katra or Katra Vaishno Devi, as it is popularly known, is a small town in Reasi district in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India, situated in the foothills of the Trikuta mountains, where the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi is located. In the evening arrive and Check into the hotel. Overnight stay will in Katra. You can also proceed to Mata Vaishnodevi shrine in the night.
Day 2
In Katra (Visit Mata Vaishnodevi Temple)After Breakfast, proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan - one of the most popular pilgrimage of India situated in the lap of Trikuta mountains across Katra town, at an altitude of around 5200 feet. Yatra involves a trek of nearly 14 Kms from base camp at Katra known as Ban Ganga. Alternate way to perform darshans is by battery operated cars, Ponies/Palkis/ Helicopter. If time permits, visit Ardhkuwari & Bhairo Temple, now you can go by ropeway from Vaishno Devi Bhavan to Bhairon temple. After visiting the temples, return back to the hotel in Katra and relax for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Katra – Patnitop (60 kms / approx 2 ½ hours)After breakfast check out from Katra and drive to Patnitop, the only hill station of Jammu district. On arrival, check into your hotel. Patnitop is a distortion of the original name of “Patan Da Talab” meaning “Pond of the Princess”. In olden times a pond existed in the meadows and the king’s princess often used to have her bath there. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the nearby areas on foot or pony back (on direct payment). Dinner & overnight stay will be in the hotel.
Day 4
PatnitopAfter breakfast, day free for personal activities. One can experience the beauty of Sanasar Valley, which is at a distance of 20kms, approx 1 hr drive (on additional charges and subject to weather conditions). Dinner & overnight at Hotel.
Day 5
Departure transfer to AirportAfter a late morning breakfast, we will drive to the airport for your flight home. On your way to the airport you can make a brief stopover for some last minute shopping in the city center. At the airport the driver will assist you with your luggage screening and drop you at outside the terminal gate.
