Highlights of Greece With Rhodes

Greece has been a major tourist destination and attraction in Europe since the 1970s for its rich culture and history, which is reflected in large part by its 18 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, among the most in Europe and the world as well as for its long coastline, many islands, and beaches.

Day 1
Welcome to AthensOn arrival, our Tour Manager / Station Manager will meet and welcome you outside the airport. Later we proceed to the hotel and check-in.
Day 2
Visit the Acropolis and the Museum – Guided City TourToday, we go on a guided tour of Athens, we visit to the Acropolis, the crowning beauty and glory of Ancient Athens, the awesome Parthenon, the Propylea, the temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion, with its Porch of Maidens. Next, we drive to the Roman Temple of Olympic Zeus, the Panathinaikon Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896), and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square. Later we drive along Panepistimiou Avenue and view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, and National Library.
Day 3
Athens – MykonosToday, we proceed to the Port of Athens to board the Ferry to Mykonos Island – the most famous Greek island and one of the world’s most popular holiday resorts. The totally whitewashed houses and blue domed Churches fit closely together to form a one of the kind maze of narrow alleys and streets. On arrival, proceed on orientation tour of Mykonos. See the Panagia Paraportiani church and the monastery of Panagia Tourliani. Evening is free to explore beautiful beaches, and a spectacular sunset on own.
Day 4
Mykonos – SantoriniToday, after breakfast, we proceed to Mykonos port to take the High-Speed ferry to Santorini. On arrival in Santorini, transfer to the hotel for check in.
Day 5
SantoriniToday, we proceed on a half day Santorini island tour to the Center of the island and on the highest point where you will visit the hidden gems of the area. Next we visit The Monastery of Prophet Elias for a panoramic view of the whole island, village of Pyrgos. Next stop will be the traditional village of Oia which is on the northern tip of the island, high on the cliff top.
Day 6
Santorini – AthensToday, we transfer to Santorini port to take the High-Speed ferry to Athens. Arrive into Athens and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Day 7
Athens – RhodesToday, we fly to Rhodes. On Arrival at Diagoras airport, we depart for a unique exploration in Rhodes, the island of the Knights. Discover the long history, culture rich collection of historical sites and monuments that represent Greek history and are worth visiting. Visit the Grand Master's Palace, and continue our tour with the New Marina, Monte Smith Hill with the Citadel of the Ancient City of Rhodes, the Temple of God Apollo, the Ancient Theatre and the Ancient Stadium. Visit the Museum of Neo-Hellenic Art (Nestorideion) and our tour ends with a visit to the Throne of Helios. Enjoy impressive 9D visual and sound effects in 30 minutes of endless action as you journey through the ages seeing medieval times, battles and the history of the Island.
Day 8
Rhodes – Simi – RhodesToday, sail to Simi – one of the most beautiful Venetian Island with its unique architecture. See the traditional houses built next to each other on the steep hillsides. Walk through the alleys and visit the sponge shops. Next, we stop at port Panormitis – a pilgrimage site where you see the 15th Century Holy Monastery of Taxiarchis of Panormitis with its wonderful frescoes, the library, the folklore museum inside and an impressive wood-carved iconostasis. The facade is dominated by the baroque bell tower, which is one of the highest in the world. Later return by boat to Rhodes.
Day 9
Rhode SightseeingToday, enjoy the magic of Rhodes from the water as we experience a thrilling ride on board a Submarine and see the most famous and beautiful places in the City of Rhodes including best-known sights where Colossus of Rhodes stood. Next, we proceed to the thermal springs of Kallithea - picturesque bay in a landscape of unique natural beauty. Later, we visit the Holy Monastery of Panagia Tsampikas with the unique breathtaking view. Next we visit a uniquely beautiful settlement of Lindos. The Acropolis of Lindos, built on a steep rock 116 meters high, dominates over the traditional settlement with its picturesque alleys, buildings of special architecture. We then visit Virgin of Lindos where you see the most stunning frescos. Later, stroll around to discover the beauties of the place as well as the local cafes and restaurants.
Day 10
Rhodes – Athens – Fly back home with pleasant memoriesToday, we take an early morning flight to Athens to connect to your flight back home. Kindly spare a few minutes to share your feedback with your Tour Manager. Your valued suggestions will be most appreciated. Arrive home with pleasant memories of your Europe tour, which we are sure you will treasure for a lifetime.

Exclusions

  • If you wish to travel in advance i.e., before the published departure date as mentioned in the brochure or like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge that will be applicable (subject to availability of seats for the given dates & ticket validity) which will be advised to you by our sales staff / travel agent. Kindly note, the deviation will be actioned only 30 Days prior to departure date.   
  • Tipping is expected from anyone providing your service e.g. Coach Driver, Local Guides, Hotel & Restaurant staff etc. It is mandatory to tip a nominal amount of Euro 4 per person/per day. For the entire duration of this tour which is 15 Days, the total Tips amount is Euro 60 per person to be paid to the Tour Manager on Day 01 of the tour.
  • Cost of Basic Travel Quota equivalent to USD 250,000.   
  • Any increase in the airfare charged by the airline on your air ticket (presently calculated as of 5th January, 2023 )
