One of Azerbaijan's most famous sites is Yanar Dağ (or “Burning Mountain“), a natural glowing fire burning on a hillside along the Caspian Sea. True to its name, the mountain has been blazing for at least 65 years!

Day 1
Arrive at BakuWelcome to Azerbaijan – also known as “The Land of Fire”. Upon arrival at the airport, pick up from airport and transfer to your hotel. Check in at hotel (standard time approx 1400 hrs). Rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2
Baku City Tour (PVT basis)Enjoy Breakfast in Hotel. Today we proceed for a Private city tour with a visit to the main historical Centre of Baku. You’ll discover the major sights of Baku located both in old part of Baku called “Ichari Shahar” and more modern parts of seaside boulevard, uphill parks and buildings. You will get to know the evolution of Baku since its establishment in the V century through Soviet era up to its independence. Your guide will lead you along the most remarkable monuments and buildings, so you can take memorable shots on your way. Half-Day Baku City Sightseeing Tour covers most of the sights you can visit and see. Martyrs Lane - Martyrs' Alley is an exhibition of Azerbaijanis' courage against Soviet occupation. Get a glimpse of the end of totalitarian Soviet regime during our visit of Martyrs' Alley. Baku Funicular - Enjoy the ride in a funicular while getting a short glimpse of Baku city up above from the hills of Baku. (Entrance included) Flame Towers - Right by the Martyrs' Lane, you will see the Flame Towers, famous for their unique modern architectural design. Daghustu Park ("Uphill Park") - At the Uphill Park, you will get a chance to see stunning view of the city. Great spot for selfies to show off your visit to Azerbaijan! :) Baku Ferris Wheel - is a Ferris wheel on Baku Boulevard in the Seaside National Park of Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. The wheel is 60 meters tall and has 30 cabins, each holding eight people. It makes a complete turn in 30 to 40 minutes. (Entrance included). Little Venice - restored into a new grand look, will be our third stop. It's not a long stop, but a view of the small oasis in Baku Boulevard. Baku Boulevard - Before we head to Baku Boulevard, we will have an hour-long lunch break, so you can take some rest, but also enjoy national dishes made by the soulful Azerbaijani people. Carpet Museum - After we enter Baku Boulevard, we will head to the Carpet Museum. The museum is a must see if you are in Baku at least for a day. Continue with Baku Old City, Fountain Square - Our second stop, the Fountain Square, was one of the first ever parks created in Azerbaijan and was full of mansions of oil magnates. It's located in the central street of Baku and was called "Torgovaya", translated as the trading street. Until 90s this street was full of merchants trading souvenirs, vintage accessories and clothings. Baku Old Town "Icharishahar" - Old Town of Baku is a beautiful maze, full of narrow streets, surprising sights, old wooden balconies, stone roads and an atmosphere that you'll never forget. A discovery by itself, every time you visit this part of the city. Museum of Miniature Books - used to be in the Guinness Books of World Records until recently, but still it has a great collection of miniature and even almost microscopic books. A small museum that will be our first stop on our way to discover more! Palace of the Shirvanshahs - Next, enter the Shirvanshahs’ Palace, the central part of ancient Shiranshahs kingdom and dive into the spirit of Islamic civilization while passing through the courtyard and king’s private rooms. Get to know the history of the palace and visit the mausoleums that witnessed many troubles for the past two centuries. Maiden Tower - Second place we will visit is the most remarkable and mysterious monument – the Maiden Tower, built in the south-east part of the Old Town. Once you immerse yourself into the experience of discovering such extraordinary building, you will know why it is considered as the symbol of Baku.
Day 3
Ateshgah & Qobustan Tour (PVT basis)Enjoy Breakfast in Hotel. Today we proceed for a Private Ateshgah tour with a visit to the temple & Yanardag. Proceed to the ancient zoroastrian temple "Ateshgah" which is considered as an authentic Azerbaijani exotic site to visit. It is located approximately 30 km from the center of Baku in the suburb of Surakhany. You will learn a lot about the temple from your guide, particularly, more about the history of creation of such a temple in Baku and unique natural phenomenon of burning natural gas outlets. (Entrance included) In the second part of visit, after visiting the temple you will go directly to "Yanar Dag" ("Burning Mountain"), located not too far from Ateshgah Temple. It is the most famous and popular tourist site of the “eternal flame” in Azerbaijan. Actually, it is rather a hill than a mountain, with natural gas burning on its slope from ancient times. (Entrance included) Hyder Aliyev Centre It is a 57,500 m2 (619,000 sq ft) building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid. The Heydar Aliyev Centre represents a fluid form which emerges by the folding of the landscape’s natural topography and by the wrapping of individual functions of the Centre. All functions of the Center, together with entrances, are represented by folds in a single continuous surface. Gobustan and mud volcano tour from Baku is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with ancient petroglyphs and to feel the natural beauty of mud volcanoes. Gobustan tour is one of the most popular half day tours from Baku. On the way to Gobustan, you will see the Bibi Heybet Mosque, a fascinating view of Sixov Beach, old oil pumps, dazzling seascapes, and intriguing semi-deserts. The Gobustan State Preserve is full of archaeological monuments and has over 6, 000 cave painting. In Gobustan Museum (Entrance included), you will see ancient human bones, work tools used during the Mesolithic period. Then, you will advance to the mountain in order to see real rock paintings in the open air museum. Distinctive, highly stylized thousand images showing of early man, animals, hunters, ritual dances, bulls, camel caravan, and depictions of the sun and heavens, called petroglyphs, distinguishes Gobustan art. Most of these images made by pecking, grinding, or scratching and carved a design into a rock’s surface. Petroglyph’s dating back between 5,000-20,000 years left by the hunter-gatherer people who populated this region in times past. This is one of the largest known concentrations of petroglyphs in the world. Rock art provides a window into the past rituals, beliefs, and artistic abilities of its creators. Because of its scientific, aesthetic, and religious significance, Gobustan become most popular state park and a valuable mine of Azerbaijan. People interested in visiting the petroglyphs can take our half day tours to Gobustan all year long. After visiting Gobustan Museum, you will continue tour to the Mud Volcano (Entrance included) Azerbaijan keeps the first place in the world by the number of mud volcanoes. About 300 mud volcanoes are located in Azerbaijan – at the shore, in the sea and on islands. During this trip you will get a great chance to see these amazing active volcanoes from very close distance. You need to have a love of volcanoes to fully understand the magic that this place gives off and the sensation you get when you’re here. Return to the hotel after the tour.
